Morgan's Wonderland History and Overview

Presented by Mr. Paul Carter, Development Director

Paul joined the staff of Morgan’s Wonderland in June 2017, bringing 30 years of successful experience to his position as the Chief Development Officer for Morgan’s Wonderland.  After a decade with the Boy Scouts of America, he became the chief development officer for the American Red Cross in Houston, Texas. Paul moved to the Red Cross national headquarters in Washington, D.C. as senior director, chapter advancement in 1997 and served as vice president for development for the American Red Cross in 1998 and 1999.  After 10 years with the American Red Cross, Paul returned to Texas to serve as the Director of Strategic Planning and Annual Giving for the University of Texas at San Antonio for the past 10 years.  Paul has also supported the development efforts at the San Antonio Symphony and KLRN/PBS in San Antonio.  A graduate of the University of Texas, he has received the National Distinguished Service Award from the Boy Scouts of America, is a lifetime member of Alpha Phi Omega and a former Rotarian and Kiwanian.
